We believe in the institution of marriage, as God ordained, to be the union of one man and one woman (Genesis 2.19-24; Leviticus 18.22; Matthew 19.4-6; Romans 1.18-27; Ephesians 5.22-33; Hebrews 13.4).  We believe that this is the only union that God sanctions and therefore, Central Baptist Church will not sanction any marriage of same-sex couples, nor any other unions that are contrary to Biblical teachings.  Neither the pastor nor any other ordained minister who is a member of this church will be allowed to conduct any same-sex marriage in any facility or on any property owned by the church.
